In Ward Van Lines we have broad experience moving offices, interfering as little as possible with your commercial and industrial activities.
To do so, we use special containers per each type of object and document, meticulously identifying and classifying them, we also use special packing for computer equipment.
PROCESS
- We receive your request and program a visit to your office.
- We determine the volume to pack and move, as a whole.
- We propose the most favorable timetable to move, visiting the origin and destination offices.
- We offer you the option to take partial or total damages insurance coverage.
- Your files, confidential documents, delicate furniture, computers, printers, photocopiers, among others, are packed in special containers. Every item is specially labeled in order to identify and classify everything.
- Once in the destination offices, we unpack, assemble and locate furniture and articles in the different assigned areas.
Our policy has been prepared under international standards of risk coverage in order to move your whole office from door to door, to and from anywhere in Chile.
- We insure your office goods from partial or total risks related to moving, such as: fire, collision, or overturning along the way.
- We cover damages or losses caused by external fortuitous causes which are responsibility of third parties.
- We are also responsible for any damages or losses occurring inside the offices as long as Ward Van Lines responsibility is proven.
- You must provide a detailed value list, highlighting significant value items and confirming that they were listed in the packing inventory conducted by Ward Van Lines.

Ward Van Lines helps you to solve your whole or partial storage needs, you can store home or office furniture in the short, medium and long term, in warehouses that strictly comply with international security and maintenance standards.
Our warehouses are protected with maximum security measures, they are dry, clean, earthquake resistant and totally appropriate to store objects for long periods of time. We keep your goods packed and stored with responsibility, duly identified, with fire detection, suppression system and humidity control.
In this case, getting insurance is mandatory. We offer you an insurance coverage against every risk in our warehouses, it covers you from the moment Ward Van Lines receives the household or office goods and during the whole period of time they are stored with us.
Leave the hard work of packing in our hands
In Ward Van Lines we offer you specialized packing for transportation and storage, using the best materials and most appropriate containers for every item.
We use tissue paper, white paper, corrugated cardboard or bubble-wrap and; if necessary, we build wooden crates for fragile objects such as paintings, china, ornaments, etc.
Boxes of different sizes are available for books, toys, clothes, multiple articles, and wardrobes with hangers. If required, wooden crates are custom made to pack fragile objects such as paintings, porcelain, mirrors, glass items and others. We also use silica gel to avoid humidity.
Once everything has been packed, inventories are prepared according to the labels of each package.

An object is defined based on different levels, from the material to the symbolic level, as well as its monetary value. There are varied objects which possess three important conceptual dimensions: real, symbolic and imaginary. Each of these dimensions provide complexity at the moment of “handling them logistically”. An artwork such as a painting, sculpture, a graphic work on paper -a drawing, an engraving, etc. – is part of the dimensions previously mentioned.
The material aspect of an object has specific characteristics like hardness, fragility and weight; some objects are large in volume and others are extremely delicate e.g. a sculptural piece of hundreds of kilos to a fragile chalky seashell of a malacology collection.
The symbolic and imaginary dimensions of an object make them fall into the “heritage and priceless of what is being handled” status.
