Ward Van Lines: Our commitment to health and safety

Coronavirus

The Chilean Government has issued a mandatory quarantine beginning at 10:00 pm on Thursday, March 26th applicable to 7 areas of the Grand Santiago: Las Condes, Vitacura, Providencia, Lo Barnechea, Santiago Downtown, Ñuñoa and Independencia. This measure is for a period of 7 days with possible renewals.

We can still perform all services in the rest of the areas of Santiago and other regions of Chile, until further notice.

In view of these instructions, we have taken the following steps:

  1. All office-based teams from these 7 neighborhoods has to remain at their homes and are now with full connectivity (Home Office). They continue to support all new/existing enquiries and on-going moves throughout the world and to provide advisory services during this difficult period.
  2. We continue to provide quotations to our clients/partners and carry out video surveys.
  3. Our warehouse and Operation will remain open to receive shipments currently in transit from overseas. Deliveries to final residences will be performed depending on the area/region.

The situation is subject to changes without notice; we will be updating this information as new Government and public health guidance emerges.

Any customers or agent partners with a move scheduled (packing or delivery) over the next coming 7 days will be contacted by our team to reschedule.

We remind you that our move management team is still fully operational and working remotely. We are just a phone call or message away from answering any questions you may have.

We are here to support you in any way that we can as we all navigate our way through the challenges we face together.

Stay safe,

Ward Van Lines
