We are a family-owned company with more than 46 years of experience providing national and international moving services.
Ward Van Lines was founded on February 25, 1969, with only a few staff members and a couple of trucks. Today we manage the whole Ward Van Lines Group of Companies: Ward Van Lines, House 360° and Larm, with more than 130 people working hard to deliver services of the highest quality.
We have become the most prestigious local and international moving company in Chile, with offices located in Santiago and the most important ports: Valparaíso and San Antonio.
Under the direction of the General Manager, Sebastián Laporta V., we serve more than 2,000 multinational and global companies, delivering the best possible price – quality ratio relationship in the market.

- We implemented Moveware, a software specially manufactured for the moving industry, this software allows us to save time and maximize each service since the beginning. It includes a customer relationship management system CRM, estimates at home with iPads, safe access online and inventory with bar code system.
- Each item taken from your address is labeled with a tag showing the customer name and bar code, this way, it can be constantly tracked. This system maximizes the space in our warehouses and assures that every item entering warehouse can be controlled when exiting it.
- We have a 7.000 m2 warehouse with permanent security 24 hours a day, especially designed to store your belongings.
- We own a large fleet of trucks and vehicles in order to meet any requirement.
- Our offices and warehouses are located in the same facilities, this allows us to keep a smooth communication between departments.
- We have offices in Valparaíso and San Antonio, with better “in situ” control capabilities during the customs process.

Headquartered in Belgium, this is the only Alliance of the industry that rules the quality standards required for a moving company.

This is a corporation based in London that groups the best moving companies at worldwide level (only 260 companies in 70 countries). Its mission is to provide the best service available, through the close collaboration between its members.
Latin American and Caribbean International Movers Association (LACMA)
LACMA is the Latin-American association represented in FIDI. It is the leader organization, respected in the industry for its firm resolutions and character, it’s very attractive because the services provided are always being innovated, it addresses continuous improvement; the strong bonds that unite its members are the symbol of this association.
International Association of Movers (IAM)
It’s the biggest association in the world. It includes 1,800 companies in 160 countries.
CERTIFICATIONS
FAIM Plus
As member of FIDI, we are requested to get the approval of an external audit conducted by Ernst & Young. Once approved, the company achieves the certification FAIM Plus (www.fidi-faim.org), which is equivalent to ISO 9000, focused only on this type of industry.
WARD VAN LINES is the first company that achieved this accreditation in Chile, demonstrating one more time our commitment as leaders in providing excellence.
ISO 9001:2008
By the beginning of 2013, the quality systems Swiss certification body SGS, granted us the ISO 9001:2008 certification, we became the first international Relocation and Moving services company in the nation to obtain this acknowledgment.
This certification implies an improvement process that allows us to increase the quality standards, establishing at the same time, a touchstone for excellence and efficiency to measure organization’s performance, in order to continuously improve our customer service.
DGAC Certification
In 2014 Ward Van Lines was accredited as an Air Cargo Agency according to the accreditation process established by the DGAC, being the first International Moving company in Chile to obtain such accreditation, which has been revalidated every 2 years as required by the aeronautical standard, currently our Company is accredited until the year 2023.
This accreditation requires maintaining a robust security and control system for air cargo at each stage of the process, from packaging, transportation, storage and shipment to the airport for transfer.
EcoVadis
On November 2, 2023, in Santiago, Chile, Ward Van Lines, a leader in the International Moving and Relocation industry, proudly announced that it has been awarded the “Bronze” category in the sustainability assessment by EcoVadis. This recognition highlights the firm commitment of the company to corporate social responsibility and environmental preservation to make a positive impact on the world.
